SCM - Baby Anndra

Dearest Friends and Family, As I write this update, it is a beautiful Sunday evening in Ljubljana.  And even though Anndra, Jen, and Todd left two days ago, I still catch myself straining to hear if Anndra is awake in the next room.  Their ten snowy days in Slovenia went by all too quickly.  The highlight of their visit was Anndra's Baby Blessing.  They are very rare in our Branch, so everyone adopted her with love and sweetness.  Anndra was perfectly quiet while Todd pronounced a tender blessing from the Lord.  Grandpa Paul kept his eye on Anndra throughout the prayer and I heard a rumor that his faces kept her thoroughly entertained.  Here's our little snow bunny, all tuckered out. Todd loves the cold, so our 2 feet of snow didn't phase him a bit.  He was able to go skiing with Matjaz, our Slovenia District President, and enjoy the view from the "top of the world!" The rest of us stayed warm at home and relished our time together.  (Yes, we DID play games...  :D  And, yes, it is okay for Senior Missionaries to play games with their family.  Such fun!)  When the storms subsided, we were able to take in some breathtaking scenery.  We didn't have to go very far...  This is the view from our Living Room window, and the next picture is a view of the Slovene Alps right close to where we live. As we ventured out further, the sparkling, white beauty of the cities and landscapes was abundant.  And our trip to Bled was spectacular! Here is our photographer, busy at work...  :D We are so grateful that they were willing to make such a sacrifice to come and see us.  And a HUGE thanks to Debbie, Todd's mom, for watching Parker and Lincoln.  We couldn't have done it without her! After basking in the sweetness of this new bundle of joy from our Father in Heaven, we can testify that families are central to the Lord's Plan of Happiness.  During this mission we will greet 3 new granddaughters, fresh from Heaven's Light.  We offer our humble gratitude to our 3 daughters who have brought them to us.  Such wonder and joy!
